Working meeting
Today, President of the country Emomali Rahmon held a working meeting with members of the Government of the republic, the head of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, heads of security and law enforcement agencies, government departments and agencies, as well as other responsible persons.
During the working meeting, Head of state Emomali Rahmon considered issues related to the preparations for the autumn-winter period of 2015-2016, the control of budget spending, savings in the operation of official vehicles and fuel, accelerated harvesting, preparation for the autumn sowing, and the International Business Forum, progress of recruitment, as well as strengthening propaganda work against terrorism and extremism, and set specific tasks to the responsible persons.
During consideration of the issues of preparation for the winter, special attention was paid to the uninterrupted power supply to the population, enterprises and institutions.
In connection with the harvesting and preparation for the autumn sowing, Head of state Emomali Rahmon, recalled the rich harvest of farmers, gardeners and winegrowers, and also noted the need for comprehensive assistance to farmers to ensure timely and high-quality harvest.
To the heads of security, law enforcement agencies and security officials, in collaboration with activists of the society were given instructions by the President of the country to strengthen propaganda work to prevent the involvement of ignorant youth in extremist and terrorist movements and parties, at the call of the protection of peace and stability, peaceful life of the population, as well as honoring the achievements of state independence, the highest national and spiritual values .
At the end of the meeting, Head of state Emomali Rahmon, drawing attention to the progress of disaster management in the Badakhshan region and in other regions of the country, also expressed his gratitude to all ministries, departments, state, public and business organizations, to individuals who have made a significant contribution to the early restoration of housing of families as well as other affected objects.
President of the country Emomali Rahmon also drew attention to the preparations work for the evaluation of the current year and other important issues and gave concrete instructions to the responsible persons.
