Telegram of condolences to British Prime Minister Theresa May

The Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has offered his condolences to Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Theresa May.

The President’s message reads, in particular:

"Your Excellency,

We were shocked to hear about awful explosion that left dozens killed and injured a large number of citizens in Manchester.

An unprecedented wave of terrorism that engulfed many countries of the world and evokes serious concern of the whole international community has demonstrated once again that it is necessary to continue a joint merciless fight against this plague of the century.

Expressing our condolences to the families and friends of those who were killed, I wish those injured a speedy recovery.”
