Today, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon carried out a number of cadre changes.

According to the orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Amirullo Kholov has been appointed as an acting Chairman of Jaloliddin Rumi district of Khatlon region and Mirzokhon Sangov as an acting Chairman of Temurmalik district of Khatlon region.

By the resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan the following persons have been newly appointed: Ruhulo Hakimov – Deputy Finance Minister, Hikmatullo Nazirov – First Deputy Chairman of Committee for Environment Protection, Sharifjon Rajabov – Deputy Chairman of Committee for Environment Protection, Rahmatullo Tavarov – Head of State Service for Construction and Architecture Control under the Agency of Construction and Architecture.

Khudoberdi Kholiqnazarov has been appointed as the First Deputy Director of Centre for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Saifullo Safarov and Farida Muminova as the Deputy Directors of this Centre.

The following persons have also been appointed:

Rahmatullo Mirboboev – Rector of Finance and Economy University of Tajikistan;

Dilovar Qodirov – Rector of Business and Service Institute;

Ghafur Usmonov – Rector of State University of Khujand named after academician Bobojon Ghafurov;

Jamshed Juraboev – Rector of State University of Law, Business and Policy of Tajikistan;

Mahmad Shodiev – Rector of State University of Qurghonteppa named after Nosiri Khusrav;

Imomyorbek Qalandarbekov – Rector of State University of Khorugh named after Moyonsho Nazarshoev;

Sulaymon Davlatov – Rector of Islamic Institute of Tajikistan named after Imam Azam – Abuhanifa Numan ibn Sabit.


Nine other persons have been appointed to governing and judge positions in judiciaries of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Oblast, Khatlon region and Dushanbe city.

Heads of divisions for internal affairs of Qairoqqum city of Sughd region and districts of Yovon, Jilikul and Muminobod of Khatlon region have also been replaced.
