The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a meeting with senior officers to announce his decision to appoint them in the structural units and the Interior Ministry’s regional offices.
The President of Tajikistan signed orders relieving heads of departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to twenty-three cities and districts of the country.
In addition, the chief of departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Norak city as well as districts of Kushoniyon, Dusti, Shamsiddin Shohin, Danghara, Panj, Vose’ and Muminobod in the Khatlon Province were appointed.
The chiefs of departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the cities of Khujand, Isfara, Konibodom and Istaravshan, as well as districts of Shahriston, Kuhistoni Mastchoh, Ayni and Devashtich in the Sughd Province were replaced.
Chiefs of departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the cities of Tursunzoda and Vahdat as well as Shahrinav district were replaced. The chief of the MIA department-1 in Dushanbe’s Sino district, the head of State Police College of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Kulob as well as the chief of the police station at Dushanbe airport were also replaced.
The Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon during his conversation stressed that appointed cadres should contribute to beneficial ways of channeling, including the protection of human rights, fundamental freedoms and the rule of law and promote conscientious work.
The Leader of the Nation paid attention especially to the matters of the struggle against extremism as well as countering transnational organized crime, illicit drug trafficking.
