The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory message to the President of the United States of America Barack Hussein Obama on the occasion of celebration of anniversary of the Independence Day, which reads in part:

“Tajikistan as always wishes the progress of the United States of America and further development of comprehensive cooperation with your country. We will also use the opportunities and resources in all spheres and areas of cooperation in future.

We are confident that the friendly relations and wide-ranging cooperation between our states is an important factor of peace and stability in the region of Central Asia and beyond it.

In this happy day I wish Mr. President strong health, great successes and to the friendly people of America prosperity, welfare and happiness”.
