The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

During the telephone conversation, President Rahmon warmly greeted Nursultan Nazarbayev on New Year and wished to all the fraternal Kazakhstan peace, stability and further prosperity.

Emomali Rahmon expressed his appreciation to Nursultan Nazarbayev for offering his New Year warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Tajikistan.

President of Tajikistan noted the successful development of Tajik-Kazakh relations of close friendship and comprehensive cooperation, despite the negative consequences of the pandemic.

Moreover, emphasis was placed on parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan, the head of our state noted that "A successful outcome of the Parliamentary election in Kazakhstan could further strengthen stability, national harmony and unity".

The parties expressed confidence that by joint efforts the strategic partnership between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan will continue to expand for the benefit of the peoples of the two countries.
