Today the regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has been held under the chairmanship of the President of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Government of the country Emomali Rahmon.

At the beginning of the meeting at first the report of the Minister of Agriculture has been heard on the course of fulfillment of the Decree of the President of Tajikistan dated 27 August 2009 “About the additional measures to develop gardening and viticulture for 2010-2014”.

As it was noted, in 2010-2012 the area of more than 36600 hectares of new gardens and vineyards has been created that exceeds for 5040 hectares the plan of fulfillment of the mentioned decree of the President and accounts for its 115,8%.

Moreover, the Chairman of the Committee for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense reported on the course of implementation of the Programme for development of the field of emergency situations and civil defense for 2009-2014.

During the report, it was particularly mentioned that in 2011 and 2012 15 million TJS of budgetary means and over 1 million USD of foreign investment funds have been allocated for strengthening material and technical supply of bodies for emergency situations and civil defense.

The State Quality Programme for 2013-2015 has been approved.

The draft constitutional law of the Republic of Tajikistan “About the procedure of solution of issues of border and administrative character” and Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “About the trade activities and domestic services” have been approved and submitted for consideration of the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In addition, a number of legal acts and conclusions of the Government of Tajikistan on the introduction of amendments to the acting laws, including to the constitutional laws “About the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan”, “About the local body of state authority”, “About the courts of the Republic of Tajikistan” and to the laws “About the order of licensing”, “About the competition and limiting monopolistic activities in the markets” have been submitted for consideration of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of RT.   

At the end of the meeting the Head of State Emomali Rahmon repeatedly drew the attention of the audience to the issues of preparation to the winter season, and gave concrete instructions on stocking food and oil products, including coal and liquid petroleum gas, as well as preparing all sectors of economy of the country to cold weather conditions.
