Emomali Rahmon and Vladimir Putin visited 201 Russian military base

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin have visited the headquarters of the 201st military base of the Russian Federation.

The 201st military base has been conferred Zhukov order for merits by the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The Head of both state Emomali Rahmon and Vladimir Putin congratulated the leadership and personnel of this military unit on the state award and the signing of the Interstate agreement on status and terms of stay of military base of Russia in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as called it a factor for strengthening security and stability in the region.

It was as well highlighted that further the military and military-technical cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia will be deepened for a long-term prospect and with more efficiency.
