In Kuwait city the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has held a constructive meeting with the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The Head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon highly commended and appraised the level of preparation and organization of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit and initiative of Emir of Kuwait to allocate 2 billion USD for developing countries of Asia.

With reference to good legal-treaty basis, existing since 1995 between Tajikistan and Kuwait, it was expressed confidence that following today’s meeting the economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries will be further enhanced.

The Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah voiced his interest in the development of cooperation with Tajikistan in different social sectors, first of all in the domain of investment of infrastructure projects for transport, energy, tourism, education, health, science and technology.
