Meeting with Prime Minister of Finland Jyrki Katainen

In the morning of October 25th the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the Prime Minister of Finland Jyrki Katainen in Helsinki.

The Prime Minister of Finland, with consideration of key geographical position of Tajikistan in its region and abundant opportunities for development of cooperation among the Central and South Asia countries, stressed that Finland and its numerous companies are interested in participating in the implementation of beneficial economic, trade and infrastructure projects in the Silk Road route.

It was highlighted that the enhancement of trade, economic and investment cooperation in this region will favor the socio-economic reconstruction and revival of peaceful life in Afghanistan, as well as will strengthen regional and international stability and security, and it is for the good of all parties concerned.
