This morning the President of the country Emomali Rahmon has left for the Sughd Region to take part at the opening of a number of new socio-economic, infrastructure and cultural facilities, as well as to get familiarized with living standards of population.

The working visit of Head of State to the Sughd Region began from Panjakent City. Here the reconstruction of automobile road Aini-Panjakent has been officially initiated with the participation of the President.

During the acquaintance with the reconstruction project it was in particular informed that the distance of the road is 114km and in the framework of this initiative also almost 60km of local roads of Aini District and Panjakent City will be reconstructed and in general the distance will reach up to more than 170km.

It was noted that 650 million TJS, i.e. almost 140 million USD has been allocated for the road’s reconstruction and the works should be finished during the 2-3-year term.
