Today, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon opened a new building of State Land and Geodesy Committee of the Republic of Tajikistan in the centre of Dushanbe City and held a meeting with numerous representatives of the land and geodesy spheres in its assembly hall, as well as with leaders of regions, cities and districts, heads of structures for maintenance of law and order and other republican officials.

As it was mentioned, this building has been erected during the last 6 years with modern beautiful design at the expense of 12 million TJS. It is equipped with modern technologies from different sectors of the area.

The Head of State was shown equipment and newest technologies of mapping, geodesy, climatology, space and aerial photography, land measuring and others in different floors of the building.

The construction works results and equipment of hall and working offices have been well evaluated.

Then the President of the country Emomali Rahmon had a constructive meeting with numerous representatives of the sphere in a big assembly hall of a new building of the State Land and Geodesy Committee, which has 270 seats available. The heads of regions, republican cities and districts, law and order structures, other republican and local officials have gathered here to hold an open, free and easy talk as well as to discuss comprehensively the serious shortcomings of the area.

Moreover, the reports by the Chairman of State Land and Geodesy Committee Mahmadtoir Zokirov and Prosecutor General of the country Sherkhon Salimzoda have been heard at the end of the meeting on the ways to prevent and eliminate many shortcomings and problems of the sphere, as well as to enhance the quality of the works.
