Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has left for Geneva, Swiss Confederation with a view to participating in the World Trade Organisation General Council meeting on the issue of accession of the Republic of Tajikistan to WTO.

The President was seen off at the international airport of the capital by the Chairman of Majlisi milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev, Chairman of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Shukurjon Zuhurov, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Oqil Oqilov, Chief of Staff of the Executive Presidential Office of Tajikistan Bakhtiyor Khudoyorov and other officials.

During this trip the President of Tajikistan will be accompanied by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan Matlubkhon Davlatov, State Advisor of the President on Foreign Policy Erkin Rahmatulloev, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Sharif Rahimzoda, Chairman of Committee for Energy, Industry, Construction and Communications of the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Amir Kataev and other officials.
