The issues related to trilateral cooperation between Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Iran have been reviewed at the joint meeting of heads of three states – Emomali Rahmon, Hamid Karzai and Mahmud Ahmadinejad.
The heads of three countries have held a constructive talk on beneficial interaction between their states, including in the framework of trilateral ties and different regional and international organisations, such as Economic Cooperation Organisation, Asia Cooperation Dialogue, etc.
With reference to numerous joint projects on the development of regional transport and energy infrastructure, including construction of railways and automobile roads, power stations, power transmission lines, oil, gas and water pipelines, the heads of states highlighted their firm interest in their implementation.
