Today, the President of the country Emomali Rahmon visited the house of homeless children of Tursunzoda City and got familiarized with conditions of their stay and education.
As it was informed, since 1959 a boarding school of Tursunzoda City functioned here. In 1993 a part of it was transformed into the House of homeless children and 2 of its educational buildings were handed to the school #2. However, the House of homeless children has been neglected over recent years and has been in bad condition.
To this end, under the construction and beautification policy of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon in May 2012 the leadership of Tursunzoda City together with generous local businessmen undertook its renovation and in short term it became renewed and comfortable.
Thus, through collective efforts or effective partnership of state and private sector, the main building of the House of children, composed of 50 rooms, has been fully reconstructed.
