President Emomali Rahmon in the central cultural park of Khorugh city met with leaders, activists and numerous representatives of cities and districts of Badakhshan Autonomous Mountainous Region.

During his speech, head of state considered and discussed the indicators of socio-economic and cultural development of the region, as well as specified concrete tasks.

It was in particular noted that according to “Programme of socio-economic development of Badakhshan Autonomous Mountainous Region in the period up to 2015” the implementation of 121 investment projects with budget of over 3,5 billion somoni is expected.
