Participation in the regular summit of head of CIS states

Today, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part and spoke at the regular summit of CIS head of states held in Minsk, Belarus.

Presidents of Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan, as well as the president of host country Belarus gathered at this event.

The summit addressed 14 issues and adopted relevant decisions. Much attention was paid to the preparation for the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, other issues of humanitarian cooperation and development of interaction in the sphere of tourism. 2015 has been announced as the year of veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. As it was mentioned, before 2015 jubilee orders and medals will be established for decoration of veterans of war.
