President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, which reads in particular:

Tajikistan is interested in the comprehensive expansion of beneficial cooperation with the European Union and we are satisfied with today’s level of our cooperation.

I express hope that during your term of office in this authoritative institution the wide-ranging cooperation and partnership between Tajikistan and the European Union will gain a qualitatively new level.
