The issues of developing cooperation between Tajikistan and Qatar have been reviewed at the meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of State of Qatar Ali bin Fahd al-Hajri.

It was expressed confidence that the construction of a great mosque in Dushanbe and Residential and Commercial Complex “Diyori Dushanbe” with financial Qatari support will be only the commencement of comprehensive economic, trade and investment cooperation of Tajikistan and Qatar.
A fruitful talk has been held on the development of cooperation in areas of energy, mineral industry, banking and agriculture, including cattle-breeding and bee keeping.

According to the reached agreements the first session of Joint Intergovernmental Commission between Tajikistan and Qatar on economic, trade and technical cooperation should be held in the first half of the current year in Dushanbe.
