Telegram of condolences to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a telegram of condolences to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, which reads, in particular:

"Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich,

With deep sorrow and sadness we found the news of the death of one of the greatest figures of modern Russia, the former Prime minister and ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Maksimovich Primakov.

Yevgeny Maksimovich, as an outstanding statesman and public figure, due to his effective and purposeful activities aimed at the achievement of accord in society, economic growth in Russia and strengthening of its credibility in the international arena, gained a deep respect not only in his homeland, but also far beyond its borders. He was widely known in the world as a politician, who delivered a lot of solutions to the most pressing regional and global issues.

In connection with this irretrievable loss to Russia, expressing our deepest condolences to the Russian people, I ask you, dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, to convey our sincere feelings of sympathy to the relatives and friends of the deceased".
