Today, after the commissioning of a secondary school №2 city of Rogun city President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon at the center of the city launched the functioning of the Central Building Laboratory.

President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon spoke about the need to build the laboratory for quality control of building materials and all work since the first days of rehabilitation, construction and installation works on the century project of Rogun.

Under the Rogun was to be built independent construction laboratory equipped with modern facilities of international standard, and now at the direct instruction and support of President Emomali Rahmon has been built and put into operation a modern laboratory, the likes of which, according to experts, is not present in Central Asia.

The laboratory consists of five departments and individual sectors, including the metals examining Division, Department of geotechnical supervision, chemical department, spectral sector expertise department and the department of concrete examination of physical and mechanical properties of the cement.

Each building material coming into the laboratory is carefully checked by experts, examination passes through a rare equipment and devices, and then allowed to be used in construction work. This fully builds confidence of the people in the strength of hydroelectric station and its dam.
