After midday, working visit of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon continued in Roshtkala district.

In the village of Bardjangal rural community named after Mirsaid Mirshakar of Roshtkala district President Emomali Rahmon, laying most important foundation stone, has launched the construction of the hydroelectric power station "Sebzor."

It should be noted that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in achieving full energy independence has established the construction of large and small hydroelectric power stations throughout the country.

Observations show that despite an increase in the population of the main consumers of energy and the creation of industrial enterprises, leaders of the country and the government were able to achieve significant results in the energy supply of the population.

The limit mode on supply of electricity is annually facilitated.

It should be noted that BMAR is the only region of the republic, which is provided with electricity all year round.

The construction project of hydroelectric power station "Sebzor" capacity of 10 MW with an annual generation capacity of 60 mln KW / h are planned in the "long-term program of construction of small hydropower plants in the cycle period of 2009-2020." For the construction of this hydroelectric power is allocated more than 180 mln. somoni.

Construction of hydroelectric power station "Sebzor" is planned on the river Shohdara in GBAO’s Roshtkala district, 15 km east of the city of Khorog. After running of the HPP up to 60 hydroelectric qualified local professionals will be provided with permanent jobs.

With the construction of hydroelectric power station "Sebzor" it is envisaged the construction of 110 kW power transmission line "Sebzor-Khorog" with a length of 18 km, which in the future will help improve the reliability and quality of electric power in the central system.

In Roshtkala district President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon also met with residents, activists and youth of district.
