On November 16, in the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the World Bank Regional Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Cyril Muller.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the World Bank were discussed.

On November 14, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon presented state awards to hundred Roghun HPP builders, who have made worthy contribution to the cause of launch of first unit of the "arena" of honor and dignity. A ceremony for presenting state decorations took place in the Palace of Nation.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon accompanied by Dushanbe chairman Rustami Emomali in a solemn ceremony attended the inauguration of the new building of the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The new nine-storey building is provided with a state-of-the-art technology. Construction of the building started in 2016. The new building houses 118 studies, four lecture rooms and two assembly halls provided with all necessary equipment.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon left to the Republic of Kazakhstan – Astana on a working visit to attend a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO).

Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a message of congratulations to newly elected President of the Federative Republic of Brazil Jair Bolsonaro.

The message reads, in particular:

“Excellency,

I am pleased to extend to you my sincere congratulations on your victory in the presidential elections in the Federative Republic of Brazil.

In the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The agenda included the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including issues of interstate cooperation aimed at strengthening peace, stability, creating favorable conditions for economic development and solving social problems.

In the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received a group of deputies of the State Duma led by leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who is in Tajikistan on a working visit.

The agenda included current issues pertaining to bilateral cooperation, in particular, strengthening Tajikistan - Russia inter-parliamentary ties.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation,  President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The meeting began with a report by Economic Development and Trade Minister Nematullo  Hikmatullozoda on the results of socio-economic development of Tajikistan in nine months of 2018.
