The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed several bills into law today. Among them are bills on the bodies of justice, on National Academy of Sciences, on courts, on drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, on tree planting, as well as the Criminal Code and Criminal Procedural Code of Tajikistan.
The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden, the Chairperson-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Ann Linde.
A wide range of issues related to Tajik-Swedish cooperation, as well as interactions within the OSCE were the subject of the discussion.
“We pay a great deal of attention to the development of cooperation with Sweden as a reliable partner in Europe,» said President Rahmon.
The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the first session of the Council of Science, Education and Innovation.
The main purpose of meeting was to address the challenges in science, education and innovation and to promote the development of these vital sectors of society.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Park Byeong-seug, who is in Tajikistan on an official visit.
The discussion covered various areas of Tajikistan-Korean cooperation, including inter-parliamentary relations and prospects for further cooperation with an emphasis on trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian relations.
On the sidelines of the 9th Ministerial Conference Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The discussion addressed further expansion of bilateral cooperation with an emphasis on political, trade and economic, scientific, educational, cultural and security cooperation.
The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, who is in Dushanbe to participate in the 9th Ministerial Meeting of the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process.
The current state and prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan and India were discussed with an emphasis on political, economic, trade, cultural, humanitarian and other areas of benefit for both nations.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part in the opening of the ninth Ministerial Conference of the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process, titled “Strengthening Consensus for Peace and Development” in Dushanbe.
The conference has kicked off with statements delivered by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani.
On March 29, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif, who arrived in Tajikistan to participate in the 9th Ministerial Conference ofthe Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process.
During the meeting the two sides discussed cooperation between the two countries with an emphasis on economic, trade, energy, industry, transport, education, science, culture and humanitarian spheres.
