Distinguished Compatriots,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

With a great honor I would like to congratulate the glorious people of my country, including the people of the ancient city of Panjakent, which is not only the birthplace of the great Tajik-Persian poet – the humanity’s poet Abuabdullo Rudaki, but also a cradle of the ancient history of the Tajik people, on our holy national holiday - the 29^th anniversary of our state independence and on the 5500th anniversary of Sarazm.

I extend my sincere and heartfelt congratulation to all of you on the 29th anniversary of the grand holiday in the modern history of our country, i.e., the State Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, and wish every resident of our state prosperity, happy life, success, and further achievements.

During several days of my working visit to the Badakhshon Mountainous Autonomous Province, I got convinced that the region has noticeably improved, and the standard of living of the population is steadily improving thanks to the continuous efforts made by the state and the Government of the country, dedicated work and patriotic efforts of local residents endowed with a sense of high pride with their homeland.

Distinguished healthcare officials and workers!

The current situation and seeking solutions to existing problems and challenges is the purpose of today’s meeting.

The ancient Tajik people gave the world hundreds of scholars, such as Avicenna and Zakariyo Ar-Roziy, whose heritages have not lost their significance today and serve humanity as medical guides and reference books.

There is no doubt that the discussion of and addressing the issues related to investment climate improvement and development of business through the public-private open dialogue platform at the 20 sessions of the Consultative Council during 13 years of its operation is aimed at expanding the economic reforms in our country.

Now, we are on the threshold of the New Year 2020, and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the people of Tajikistan and our compatriots living abroad with this occasion and wish each resident of our beloved Motherland health, prosperity, happiness and success, and to our country further development, prosperity and eternal peace and stability.

Language is an invaluable boon in the life of the humankind. It is through language that a person expresses his feelings, thoughts and judgments. National language is like a bright mirror that reflects the history, spiritual peace and wisdom of every nation.Moreover, in the culture and civilization of all peoples, including the Tajik nation, native language is the foundation, which strengthens the basis of the national mentality and serves as the main factor of its preservation.
