These days, the glorious Tajik people is preparing for the sacred and great national holiday - the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In honor of this historic fateful date, I sincerely congratulate you, dear officers and soldiers of the Motherland, all the personnel of the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies of sovereign Tajikistan.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended gala event commemorating the 28th anniversary of the founding of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the​ military parade marking the​ 25th anniversary of establishment of Tajikistan’s National Guard.

“From the first days of its establishment to the present day, despite the fact that in those days the economic situation of our newly independent country and the financial capacity of the government were extremely limited, this military structure has passed a glorious path of formation, improvement and development” noted President Rahmon.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the gala event celebrating the 27th anniversary of the founding of the Armed Forces of Tajikistan, which took place at the Kokhi Borbad Palace on February 22.

President Rahmon shared his thoughts regarding the formation of the Armed Forces and passing the most difficult trials to its transforming into an organized, powerful and reliable structure which protects the people of Tajikistan.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon accompanied by the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali attended the event dedicated to the Border Guards Day. The event took place at the training center “Poytakht” of the State Committee for National Security.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Emomali Rahmon accompanied by Dushanbe Chairman Rustam Emomali attended an official opening ceremony of the Military Lyceum named after Kurushi Kabir (Cyrus the Great) of the Main Border Guard Directorate of the State Committee for National Security.

The lyceum consists of three two-storey buildings and covers 1360 square meters, which is composed of a separate classrooms, library and modern hostel.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon accompanied by the Chairman of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali visited the newly renovated State Border Management Center of the Main Border Guards Directorate of the State Committee for National Security. The Centre is equipped with latest generation of equipment.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon took part in a meeting marking National Security Agency Workers' Day.The National Security Agency Worker’s Day is traditionally celebrated on December 28.

Today, at Rahmon Nabiev Street, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon attended a ceremony of an official opening of a new multi-storey residential building for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The President of the country also laid a cornerstone for construction of one more apartment building for police officers.
