At the meeting with the Minister of Environment of Qatar Ahmed Amer Mohamed Al Humaidi the current issues and prospects of development of relations between the two countries have been discussed.
It was noted satisfaction over the level and content from beneficial cooperation, as well as expressed interest in the further expansion of ties.
During the meeting of President Emomali Rahmon with Minister of Electricity, Water and Public Works of State of Kuwait Abdulaziz Abdullatif al-Ibrahim mainly the ways to implement bilateral documents and agreements have been reviewed.

At the meeting with the President of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly John Ashe the issues of wide-ranging cooperation of Tajikistan with the United Nations have been considered.
John Ashe expressed his gratitude to head of state Emomali Rahmon for warm welcome and splendid organization of the conference, and reaffirmed the leadership of Tajikistan in consideration and addressing of global water issues.
In the evening, President Emomali Rahmon received the President of the World Water Council Benedito Braga.
It was expressed satisfaction from long-standing constructive and fruitful cooperation between Tajikistan and WWC.
Head of state voiced his thanks over the role played by World Water Council, as a key organization having more than 300 members, in accepting, promotion and implementation of global initiatives of Tajikistan in water sphere.
In the afternoon, President Emomali Rahmon met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, who came to Tajikistan on an official visit and to participate in the International High-Level Conference on Water Cooperation.
President Emomali Rahmon held another constructive meeting with UN Under-Secretary-General on Economic and Social Affairs Wu Hongbo.
During the meeting, along with issues of International High-Level Conference on Water Cooperation, the issues related to working out of agenda of International Development Session in 2015 have been reviewed. As it was noted, the issues to be determined in this session should be the continuation of MDGs, which were concretized for the first 15 years of the third millennium.
