Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received a delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) led by Padamja Khandelwal.

The discussion addressed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation within the framework of a wide-range lending mechanisms between the government of Tajikistan and the IMF.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received in the Palace of the Nation the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, who is in Tajikistan on an official visit.

A wide range of issues pertaining to bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia were the subjects of the discussion.

Today, in the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Stanislav Zas.

The two sides exchanged views on enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation, mostly focusing on military and military-technical cooperation, ensuring peace, stability and security.

On November 20, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nurdinjon Ismoilov, who is in Tajikistan on a working visit. The meeting took place in the Palace of the Nation.

During the meeting the two sides discussed bilateral matters of cooperation of the two countries, including further development of inter-parliamentary relations.

On November 16, in the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the World Bank Regional Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Cyril Muller.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the World Bank were discussed.

In the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The agenda included the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including issues of interstate cooperation aimed at strengthening peace, stability, creating favorable conditions for economic development and solving social problems.

In the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received a group of deputies of the State Duma led by leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), Vladimir Zhirinovsky, who is in Tajikistan on a working visit.

The agenda included current issues pertaining to bilateral cooperation, in particular, strengthening Tajikistan - Russia inter-parliamentary ties.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon held talks with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, Li Keqiang, who is in Tajikistan on an official visit to attend Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (CHG) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

On the sideline of the Meeting of the Heads of Government Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

The President of our country, Emomali Rahmon, welcomed Prime Minister of Russia here in Tajikistan and expressed satisfaction with the opportunity to meet and discuss a range of bilateral and multilateral matters.

On the sideline of the Meeting of the Heads of Government Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Rumas.
