President Emomali Rahmon has met with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, Prayuth Chan-o-cha.

During the meeting the two sides expressed a quite optimistic view on the future prospects of Tajik – Thai relations. They reaffirmed joint commitment for further development of cooperation between the two countries meeting common interests.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon had a meeting with Zijin Mining Group Co. president, Mr. Chen Jinghe on the sidelines of the Dialogue of the Emerging Markets and Developing Countries on the margins of the 9th BRICS Summit in Xiamen, China.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon had a meeting with Communist Party Secretary of Liaoning Province of the People's Republic of China Li Xi on the sidelines of the BRICS Summit in Xiamen.

The meeting took place in Dalian city.

The establishment of a comprehensive cooperation between the provinces of Tajikistan and this developed province of China were the subject of discussion.

In Beijing, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon met with the Director General of Yunnan Construction and Investment Group Liu Guo Chang.

During the meeting President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon expressed the readiness of the Tajik side to strengthen cooperation with China's investment companies in order to develop the economy and industry of our country.

The issues related to cooperation in the field of tele-radio communications were discussed at the meeting of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon with the Vice President of the "Huawei" Technology Company Ms. Lin Ruiqi.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon also held a sincere and constructive meeting with the Head of General Nice Investment Limited Mrs. Sai Sui Sing.

During the talk, President Emomali Rahmon drew the attention of Chinese entrepreneurs to the large coal resources of Tajikistan, their use in production, attracting investment and new technologies on mining and processing coal, and using coal on providing population with heat energy.

In Beijing, the People's Republic of China, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon met with the Head of Poly Technologies Company Wang Sinye.

The meeting discussed prospects of cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and this influential Chinese company, as well as issues of attracting investments into the economy of Tajikistan through creating joint ventures.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon met in Beijing with the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Founder of Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation /ZTE/ Hou Weigui.

The meeting considered the issues of cooperation in the field of telecommunications and television and radio communications.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, as part of his state visit to the People's Republic of China, held constructive meetings with the heads of a number of influential Chinese companies.

In Beijing, President Emomali Rahmon received the Director General of the China Road and Bridge Corporation Lu Shan.

The meeting discussed issues related to the effective implementation of road construction projects in Tajikistan.

Today, in the Palace of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Muhammad Sharif Yaftali.
