President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon today has left for a working visit to Sughd region in order to get familiarized with the situation of the population, and to open a number of socio-economic and cultural facilities of various purposes as well as contribute to the improvement of social conditions of the population.

Emomali Rahmon’s working visit began in Ayni district.

The residents warmly and with hospitality  greeted President Emomali Rahmon.

 Head of state in a solemn ceremony cut the ribbon and, removing the veil from the monument of Naqibkhoni Tughral, opened the Historical and Cultural Complex of the famous Tajik poet, which was built in honor of the 150th anniversary of the poet.

Naqibkhon Tughral’s historical and cultural complex is located in his native village, which was rebuilt by the management of capital construction of the local executive body of the Sogd region.

The total price of this complex is 5 million somoni, and consists of the mausoleum of the poet, a fountain, as well as a monument and a canopy decorated with national thread.

Mausoleum of the poet also was renovated, and decorated with national ornaments and carvings. A monument of the poet has been made by the artist of Tajikistan Ghafurjon Juraev.

Head of state Emomali Rahmon has congratulated villagers and art lovers of Naqibkhoni Tughral with the opening of the complex.

Construction and reconstruction of historical and cultural complex was established in the framework of social policy management of state and government as a worthy gift for the followers and admirers of the poet.

Until today, all over the country in the sidelines of celebration of the 150th anniversary of the poet was held a variety of cultural and educational activities, which tells about the life and work of the poet didactic.
