Reception of credentials from 14 newly appointed ambassadors

 The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon  received today credentials presented by fourteen newly appointed Ambassadors to Tajikistan at the Palace of the Nation.

 The Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz bin Muhammad Al - Bady, of the Republic of Turkey, Ali Rifat Koksal, of France, Ms. Yasmin Gouedard, of Italy, Andrea Bertozzi, of the Republic of Austria, Gerhard Sailler, of Netherlands, Dirk Jan Kop, of Greece, Andreas Friganas, of the Czech Republic, Jaroslav Siro, of the Swiss Confederation, Urs Schmid, of the Vatican, Francis Assisi Chullikatt, of the Republic of Moldova, Dumitru Bragish, of the Republic of Korea, Kwon Young-Woo, of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Madzhibul Rahman Buiyan and Ambassador of New Zealand, Ian Alexander Hill presented their letters of credence and conveyed greetings from the leadership of their countries to the President of the country, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

 President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, having congratulated the heads of diplomatic missions for officially assuming their office in Tajikistan, highlighted that Tajikistan has established effective and mutually beneficial bilateral and multilateral political, economic and trade, cultural and humanitarian relations with various countries of the world, and, based on that, gives priority attention to the development of multifaceted relations with the countries of the Arab world, Europe, Southeast Asia and South Asia, as well as CIS countries.

 It was expressed confidence that the newly appointed ambassadors would take efforts to promote further expansion of cooperation between their countries and Tajikistan and make a worthy contribution to the development and deepening of friendly interstate relations.
