President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received the Chairman of State Investment Committee of Saudi Arabia Abdullatif Al-Usman.

The sides considered the issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries in the margins of bilateral relations and in the framework of OIC and other regional organizations.

It was expressed hope that the first session of the Joint Commission of both countries in Dushanbe will considerably facilitate the expansion of mutually beneficial relations. 

It was noted with satisfaction that the Government of Saudi Arabia currently has contributed more than 60 million USD in financing of 7 projects through Saudi Development Fund and another agreement on granting preferential credit at the amount of 25 million USD has recently been signed for construction of secondary schools.
