The President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent a congratulatory telegram to the King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, which reads, in part:
"Dear brother, Your Excellency,
Custodian of the two holy mosques,
I am sincerely glad to congratulate you on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and to wish you good health, and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia - development and sustainable progress.
We in Tajikistan appreciate your leadership role in the establishment of a civilized constructive dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation between states and nations, and are optimistic about the future development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, which is placed in the center of your attention.
We are convinced that long-term relations express our shared interests and intentions for the further mutual development and progress".
