South Korean President Park Geun-hye sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, which reads, in particular:
"Your Excellency,
Please accept my sincere congratulations on your re-election to high public office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
I am confident that under your leadership in the future Republic of Tajikistan will reach success in continuing the development of politics and economics.
During your tenure as President of the Republic of Tajikistan, I would like to make mutual efforts together to continue the development and strengthening of mutually beneficial relations between our two countries, Korea and Tajikistan, for the benefit of our countries and peoples in various fields such as politics, economy, culture and many others.
Availing this opportunity, allow me to wish you and your family, dear Mr. Emomali Rahmon, health, as well as continuous development and prosperity of the Republic of Tajikistan".
In his telegram the chairman of the National Assembly of Kuwait Marzouk Ali al- Ghanim said:
"Your Excellency,
Please accept my sincere congratulations on your victory at the presidential elections in friendly Tajikistan. I pray the Almighty to send you strength and energy to achieve the goals on the path of democracy and reforms aimed at implementing the hopes and aspirations of the people of Tajikistan.
I would also note the close fraternal ties and the mutual aspiration of Your Excellency together with His Majesty Emir of Kuwait for the development of bilateral cooperation in favor of interests of the two peoples”.
