Today, President Emomali Rahmon received the member of the Managing Board of “Siemens” Michael Suess and Director of German Energy Agency Stefan Kohler.

The meeting addressed the issues of cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany in energy field and the use of newest technologies of this sphere.

A constructive talk took place on the possibility of participation of Germany and its respected companies in the implementation of energy projects of Tajikistan, including on the construction and reconstruction of power stations, use of alternative sources of electricity production and creation of power transmission networks.

“Siemens” company, according to member of its Managing Board Michael Suess, is ready to take active part in the technical and technological reconstruction of Tajikistan’s power stations and its power networks. As it was stressed, “Siemens plans to establish in Tajikistan its permanent representation”.
