Meeting with First Deputy Minister of Awqaf of the State of Kuwait Adeel Abdullah Al Fallah

In the afternoon, President Emomali Rahmon received the First Deputy Minister of Awqaf of the State of Kuwait, President of the World Center “Wasatiyyah” Adeel Abdullah Al Fallah.

The issues of cooperation of Tajikistan with Kuwait and interaction of Muslim countries have been considered at the meeting.

Head of state Emomali Rahmon stated in particular that “material and financial aid with the view of ensuring progress of underdeveloped Muslim countries, taking concrete actions for elimination of difference between the rich and poor countries is for the good of the whole Ummah”.

Constructive talk also took place on the fight against extremist parties and movements which abuse the pure name of Islam for their benefits.

It was mentioned that the World Center “Wasatiyyah” as intermediary organization in fight against terrorism and extremism and promotion of tolerance occupies an authoritative place in the Islamic world. 

According to Adeel Abdullah Al Fallah, the State of Kuwait is ready to open the representation of the world Center “Wasatiyyah” in Tajikistan and train Tajik specialists in this area.
