At the meeting with chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kingdom of Bahrain Khalid ibn Abdurrahman Al-Muayyid the issues related to the establishment of cooperation basis between the business circles of both countries and expansion of their further ties have been reviewed.

It was noted with satisfaction that on the previous day many beneficial arrangements were made between the respected businessmen and traders of Tajikistan and Bahrain on the establishment of fruitful cooperation.

It was stressed that there are many untapped resources and opportunities for wide-ranging cooperation between the two friendly states and these opportunities should be largely used.

Khalid ibn Abdurrahman Al-Muayyid informed that he plans to organize a visit of a big group of Bahraini businessmen to Tajikistan in the nearest future. His proposal was warmly welcomed by the Tajik side and it was stressed that a large Business Forum will be held in Dushanbe.

Another constructive meeting was held between President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon  and heads of a number of authoritative banks of Bahrain.

Bahraini bankers stated that they are ready to enter the banking and investment market of Tajikistan. It was reminded that the National bank of Tajikistan has good cooperation with banks of Bahrain for adopting of best practices of Islamic banking in Tajikistan.

Emomali Rahmon reiterated that Tajikistan takes efforts to create favorable conditions for attraction of foreign investments. A lot of work is being carried out in this direction and the sphere reforms are being continued.
