oday, President Emomali Rahmon visited the garden of 15th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence construction of which began 8 years ago, on 18 February 2006 with immediate participation of Head of state. 

As it was discovered, this 450-ha garden has completely yielded and it is the second year that thosaunds of people are enjoying from its crops.

From 450 ha 130 hectares is the garden of export sorts of cherry from which 100 hectares is yielding. 30 other hectares will yield next year.

As it was mentioned, each hectare of garden is held on lease by one family and thus here more than 2400 people have been employed. During the harvesting season every landleaser also employs 5-6 workers and thus the personnel becomes for one and half thousand more.

As it was informed, from each hectare of cherry 6 tons and from each 100 hectares 600 tons of crops is harvested.

According to viticulturers, it is the second year that the abudant harvest of cherry gardens is exported, besides Dushanbe and other areas of Tajikistan, to Russia, Kazakhstan, China and other countries.
