Today, after the plenary meeting of the Investment Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for the countries of Central Asia, President Emomali Rahmon received five senior participants of this forum.

The first meeting of President Emomali Rahmon was held with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Amin Madani.

At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of multilateral cooperation of Tajikistan with the OIC.

"Tajikistan has always been a supporter of increasing the role of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which makes continuous efforts to solve complex problems of the Islamic world," - said during the conversation Head of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

Iyad Amin Madani thanked President of Tajikistan and all the responsible people of Tajikistan for the successful organization of the Investment Forum of the OIC countries of Central Asia in Dushanbe.

It was expressed confidence that this influential forum would bring fruitful results. It was also expressed confidence that the financial and investment volumes of the Islamic Development Bank, the Islamic Solidarity Fund, the Special Management humanitarian assistance and other donor funds will be seriously increased, and Muslim developing countries will receive more help from the developed countries of the Islamic world.
