Today, President Emomali Rahmon received World Bank Director for Central Asia Saroj Kumar Jha.

During the consideration of issues of mutual cooperation it was expressed satisfaction with the progress and results of cooperation of Tajikistan with this influential international institution.

Appreciating the sustainable development of Tajikistan's economy, which is observed in spite of the negative impact of external factors, it was emphasized that in order to maintain social and economic stability effective anti-crisis measures should be taken.

A constructive discussion was held on the results of the implementation of the National Development Strategy of Tajikistan for the period up to 2015, as well as identifying key development priorities for the period up to 2030.
