Signing of a number of laws

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan has signed a number of laws adopted by the Majlisi namoyandagon of Majlisi Oli and approved by the Majlisi milli of Majlisi Oli.
Among them are the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Science and Public Science and Technology Policy", "On Advocacy and Legal Practice", "On International Commercial Arbitration", "On Protection of Child Rights", "On Amendments and Additions to the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan" "On Licensing of certain activities","On Protection of Consumers' Rights", Criminal and Civil Codes, the Code of Administrative Offences, Procedural Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Adopted laws are generally aimed at protecting of human rights and freedoms, the development of science and technology, the protection of the interests of the state and institutions, crime prevention, public safety, expansion of foreign trade activities, international cooperation in the areas of judicial review of economic disputes, as well as development and progress of the various spheres of society.
