Today, President Emomali Rahmon received the heads of security bodies and special services of the Commonwealth of Independent States, who arrived in Tajikistan to attend the next meeting of the leaders of the above areas.
The meeting discussed the current situation in the region and the world, as well as ways of strengthening the joint struggle against terrorism, extremism and other threats.
Among the main topics of the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Bodies and Special Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Dushanbe were issues related to the joint measures for information security, the prevention of terrorist and extremist elements, radical nationalism, riots.
To ensure the continued security and stability in the region and promote sustainable development of the society it was stressed the need to adopt and implement effective measures for the prevention of modern threats.
