Today, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon signed a number of laws, which were adopted by Majlisi namoyandagon (Lower House) and approved by Majlisi milli.  

They include the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan», on amendments and additions to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tajikistan», «On Constitutional Courts of the Republic of Tajikistan», Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan «On secondary professional education», «On ensuring ecological safety of road transport», on amendments and additions to the codes of administrative offences and the procedural code of administrative offences of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan» has been submitted in a new edition and regulates relations connected with citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan. The bases, principles, conditions, order of acquisition and loss of citizenship of the Republic of Tajikistan are envisaged in it.

Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On ensuring ecological safety of road transport» is a new experience in the legislation system of the Republic of Tajikistan, regulating the public relations connected with ensuring of ecological safety of road transport in the Republic of Tajikistan.

Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On secondary professional education» is also new in the legislation system of education field, defines legal, organizational, economic and administrative bases of secondary professional education, an order of activity of its subjects and guarantees to citizens of the right of receiving secondary professional education.

The adopted laws, in general, are directed at the protection of human  beings and ensuring their rights and freedoms, protection of interests of the state, organizations, establishments, combating crime and providing public order, expansion of social and economic activity, development of science, education and other spheres of life of society.
