Congratulatory telegrams from the heads of a number of foreign countries on the occasion of 24th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Tajikistan

On the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received congratulatory letters and telegrams from the heads of foreign states and governments, leaders and chairmen of international and regional organizations, prominent statesmen and public figures of several countries.

In his letter addressed to the head of our state, President of India Pranab Mukherjee said:
 
"Your Excellency,
 
On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the friendly people of Tajikistan on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of your Independence Day.
India and Tajikistan have traditionally enjoyed close and friendly relations. Our two countries have forged strong bilateral relations based on our shared history and the larger vision of peace and prosperity in our common region.
The recent State Visit of Prime Minister of India to Tajikistan in July 2015 is a manifestation of India's desire to further deepen our Strategic Partnership with Tajikistan. Early implementation of decisions taken during the visit will add new dynamism to our relationship and open up new avenues of cooperation for the common benefit of our people.
On this very special occasion, I wish Your Excellency good health and success as well as peace and prosperity to the people of Tajikistan."
 
In particular, Emperor Akikhito of Japan said in his telegram:
 
"On the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan, it is with great joy that I extend to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations and best wishes for your happiness and prosperity of the people of your country."
 
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent a congratulatory message, which says:

I cordially congratulate you and all the people of the Republic of Tajikistan on its national holiday - the Day of State Independence.

In his congratulatory telegram to the head of the Republic of Tajikistan Emir of Kuwait Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Jaber al-Sabah says:
