At the solemn ceremony building of the regional museum of Hissar district was opened by the President of the country Emomali Rahmon.

This modern building was built on the initiative of the Head of State in honor of the 3000 anniversary of Hissar.

During the construction and design of the object have been synthesized medieval and modern style, which gives a special beauty of the museum.

The museum’s building consists of three floors, a basement, as well as all the conditions for storage of historical monuments, finds, paintings and other exposure.

Customer of this facility is Management of the construction of government facilities of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the contractor Ltd. "Monolit-2011."

The construction work started in May 2014 and was completed in September 2015 with the total amount of 14 million somoni.

 The total building area is about one hectare. 

The museum consists of 11 departments, each of which operates in accordance with the history and culture of the Tajik people, introduces future generations with the history of our ancestors.
