President of the country Emomali Rahmon this morning on the territory of the National Guard of Tajikistan handed state awards for meritorious achievements, material and monetary rewards to 122 military personnel, law enforcement agencies of the country, civil servants and citizens who have shown bravery, courage and a high sense of patriotism in the special operation against the terrorist group.
The Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan states the following that these people are awarded by state awards "for faithful service and meritorious achievements in protecting the constitutional rights of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan, valor and self-sacrifice in the struggle against crime, for the protection of public order."
First of all, Rustam Amakiev, former commander of the special unit "Alfa" SCNS was posthumously awarded by the Order Spitamen I degree and the rank of Major General.
Order of Spitamen I degree was awarded to Abdurahmon Alamshozoda, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Mansurjon Umarov, First Deputy chairman of the National Security Committee.
A large number of military personnel, law enforcement officials, civil servants and other citizens were awarded with the Order of Spitamen II degree, Order Sharaf II degree, the Medal Jasorat and certificates of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In addition, the material and moral support was provided to the families and friends of 14 law enforcement officers killed in the attack.
Among the recipients of state awards also attended eight residents of the city of Vahdat of Romit gorge, who actively assisted law enforcement agencies in the capture and neutralizing of the terrorists.
President Emomali Rahmon in his speech on his own behalf and on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan once again expressed his gratitude to all military personnel, law enforcement officers and citizens of the Republic who have shown bravery, courage, dedication and loyalty in the attack, and condolences to the families and relatives of employees who sacrificed their lives during this operation.
President of the country Emomali Rahmon expressed his satisfaction with the fact that this dangerous terrorist group has been neutralized in a short period, and praised the level of training of security forces and law enforcement agencies.
He expressed his confidence that the armed forces, all units of law enforcement agencies will always show a high readiness, valor and courage in the way of protecting the interests of the state, the nation, peace and stability of the society.
The award ceremony ended with the passage of military units, which was attended by more than 5,000 soldiers and police officers.
